Founded under Lakeside Capital Group, The Kootenai County Land Company, “The KC Land Co,” specializes in high quality residential land development. Headquartered in Spokane, WA, its development projects span the Pacific Northwest, along with outside regions such as Arizona and Montana.

History

Since 2012, Lakeside’s land holding and development companies have strategically acquired and developed residential tracts of land in Idaho, in premier locations within Kootenai County.  All developments are conveniently located near the I-90 corridor and are rich with amenities, including large open spaces, walking paths, community parks and easy access to North Idaho’s extensive trail system.

2012

The Trails, a multi-phased 470 residential dwelling unit subdivision was purchased in a premier location in Coeur d’Alene.  This 143 acre parcel has easy access to both Interstate I-90 and Hwy 95.  The neighborhood is bisected by the Prairie Trail,  which connects to the North Idaho Centennial Trail system, a non-motorized, multi-use trail that meanders 24 miles between scenic Higgens Point State Park on Lake Coeur d’Alene and the Idaho–Washington border, where it joins the Liberty Lake Stateline Trail.

2012

Foxtail, a multi-phased 1,000+ residential dwelling unit subdivision, was acquired right in the heart of Post Falls, Idaho.  This plat includes a school site, and eight acre city park, many community parks, and easy access to the Prairie Trail system.  Conveniently located near Hwy 41 and Interstate I-90, this community offers easy access to local cities as well as Spokane.

2013

The Reserve, an 86 lot residential subdivision, was acquired in a prominent Post Falls location, adjacent to a mature and flourishing residential community. This 40 acre plat in includes a school site, and is conveniently located near both Hwy 41 and Interstate I-90.

2019

In 2019, Lakeside Capital acquired 1,050 acres, right in the heart of Kootenai County. This highly coveted piece of land will be home to over 4,500 residences, ranging from large, custom view sites to more quaint footprint homes offering affordability and urban style living.

2020

Two new projects are announced: the Enclave – an expansion in the Trails community and Coeur Terre – a master planned community on the 1,050 acres KC Land Co. acquired in 2019.
