Coeur Terre Development Approved

We are proud to announce that the Coeur d’Alene City Council approved our proposed annexation of Coeur Terre, a 440-acre mixed-use development on the western edge of Coeur d’Alene. The result of a decade of planning and collaboration, we are excited to be tasked with build this next portion of Coeur d’Alene.

We worked closely with 13 agencies, 26 departments, multiple special interest groups, as well as neighborhoods and individuals to ensure a well-planned development.

Coeur Terre will feature up to 2,800 housing units, businesses, shops, restaurants, 18 acres of public parks, a central landscaped corridor, over 4 miles of trails, and land designated for two public schools. The development aims to provide a high quality of life for residents while supporting local economic growth.

Scheduled for a buildout period of 20-30 years, Coeur Terre is committed to offering a mix of housing types including deed-restricted professional workforce. Additionally, a new police substation will be established to enhance safety by keeping officers in the community.

Community participation in public discussion played a significant role in shaping the direction of the Coeur Terre masterplan. Thank you to all who participated.

As the planning process continues, we want to maintain open lines of communication and keep the public informed about the project’s progress. We are eager to witness the realization of our vision for Coeur Terre over the upcoming decades. We welcome your continued feedback, questions, and comments as we remain committed to making Coeur Terre a successful development for the entire community.
