Melissa Wells

President

President of the Kootenai County Land Co, Melissa brings over a decade of real estate experience to the team. Her key areas of expertise are in land acquisition, land development, product design and marketing of residential communities. Melissa seeks out partners with world-class consultants to build stand out communities. In addition, Melissa project manages large, high value residential projects across the Region. The most recent projects are in the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana.Previously, Melissa spearheaded the start-up of Architerra Homes, a home building company based out of Coeur d’Alene, ID and served as Architerra’s President. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Cum Laude, from Arizona State University. Melissa, her husband Keith and two children enjoy all the outdoor adventures the northwest region has to offer.

Gabe Gallinger

Civil Engineer

Gabe brings over 20 years of experience residential, commercial, and municipal engineering to the team. He is responsible for managing all aspects of our residential and commercial developments including platting, design, budgets, and construction management. Gabe works very closely with local municipalities, consultants, and contractors to ensure our projects are successful. Previously, he was with the City of Spokane Valley as the Development Services Manager and was responsible for overseeing all commercial and residential land development applications within the City. Gabe holds a Professional Engineering License in Washington and Idaho and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Washington State University. Gabe and his wife Tami have three active children and enjoy spending time outdoors and at the kids sporting events.

Connie Krueger

AICP

Connie Krueger is the owner of Stonehenge Development and Government, a private sector consulting firm. Ms. Krueger is an AICP Certified Planner who worked for 25 years in the states of Washington and Idaho as a Community and Economic Development Director for city and county agencies. She has overseen departments related to building, planning, engineering, fire safety, watershed, flood management, emergency management, urban renewal, recycling, and more. ​Ms. Krueger has a degree from Eastern Washington University in Urban and Regional Planning and has served as the President of the Columbia Section of the American Planning Association. She also servers as a Professional Advisory Board member with Eastern Washington University’s College of Business and Public Administration, mentoring students in the field of urban and regional planning studies.
